Its been so inspiring to see so many people over the last week, you have given us our mojo back. We have really loved being able to open up the new studio and talk about art work and the path it is leading down. Catching up with both old friends and clients and meeting new faces travelling from near and afar has been a faith restorer – so good to know you all still need that arty fix and visiting art studios is the perfect prescription.

Its exciting to know so many of our pieces are going to their new homes where we are sure they will bring joy for many years to come. Even the ones that were not on display hidden in a box of treasure samples!

Thank you for ignoring the weather, visiting, chatting, inspiring and supporting us here at Feathered Glass and other small businesses through Artweeks. And another thank you for all your commissions – they’ll keep us out of mischief for the next month or two! You have made our hearts sing again. It means so much to us all especially when we have been through such unusual times – a whole year without having you here to talk glass, it’s not been good….. Now, things are looking brighter and we’re looking forward to to seeing where our creativity leads us next.

We have been busy improving the new website, which has taken quite a bit longer than expected as we are both technologically inept and far prefer creating art to sitting in front of a computer! We are still not 100% finished, so please bear with us, we’re just so proud to share what we have been up to. We will be adding more information as the next pages are completed, which would be sooner if I could get Mum out of the studio! Wow, we are now open for Artweeks! I think I’m ready, not sure I’ll be able to find all the things I have hidden in boxes ever again…

The new studio is a great place to work – I’ve been spoilt. Thank you Adam x. The space easily deals with all our social distancing needs whilst showing off my new pieces in the best way possible. There is also a one way system in place, with plenty of hand sanitisers at the ready. Come and say hello.
